Button Text Character Limit Changed

The button character limit is being updated to a maximum of 30 character maximum to accommodate the horizontal button orientation in a mobile view. The following button texts have been updated:

Exclusive New Zealand Locale Support

New Zealand specific support for regional currency formatting and regional site selection – completely separate from Australia – will now be available to FastLink customers in the Configuration Tool.

Custom Help Text on FastLink Screens

Using the Configuration Tool, customers can now add custom help text that will be displayed on the following FastLink screens:

  • US OB providers – The help text will appear on top of the Intent to Consent screen.
  • Credentials-based sites – The configured help text will be displayed on the login form screen.

User Interface Configuration Enhancements

The following UI enhancements have been done:

  • Button configuration has been moved to the Design Preferences section of the Configuration Tool. With this move, new style and color configurations have been added, making the FastLink look and feel more customizable.
  • The Call To Action (CTA) buttons can now be arranged side-by-side (horizontal). Style and color configurability for primary, secondary, and tertiary buttons have been enhanced.
  • The Add Real Estate and Add Manual tile text that is displayed on the search screen can now be customized and can be set to bold.
  • Search screen customizations:
    • The search bar text can be set to bold.
    • The search results header text can be set to bold.
  • Negative and positive account balances can now have customized colors in the following screens:
    • Account selection screen
    • Account summary screen

Account Verification – New Features/Enhancements

New Holder Profile API

A new API service has been introduced to fetch account holder’s profile information (such as name, address, email, and phone number) that is available at both the provider account (i.e., user profile) level and at the account level.

Error Message Changes for Verified Accounts API

The following error message changes have been done for the Verified Accounts API:

  • Scenario: A valid providerAccountId which is not associated with verification is passed as an input to the Verified Accounts API.
    • Existing error message:

      "errorMessage": "Invalid value for providerAccountId"
    • New error message:
      "errorCode": "Y879",
      "errorMessage": "Verification data is not requested for this account"
  • Scenario: An accountId of an unsupported account type (other than bank or investment) is passed as an input to the Verified Accounts API.
    • Existing error message: A blank response is returned.
    • New error message:
      "errorCode": "Y820",
      "errorMessage": "This account type is not supported for verifiedAccounts"

Yodlee APIs – New Features/Enhancements

Restriction on Provider Account Deletion during Migration Removed

The restrictions that were in place for deleting the provider account during the process of Open Banking migration activity have been relaxed. If needed, the user can delete the provider account even when the migration is in progress and not have to wait until the end of migration runway period.

Return Source ID for Open Banking Accounts

Enhancement have been made to APIs to return the sourceId (i.e., the unique ID assigned by the provider to the user’s account or transaction) if received from the provider. The sourceId is currently exposed only for the held or pre-populated accounts. The support will be extended to the Open Banking accounts based on their availability with this enhancement.

Associated Provider IDs Attribute Enhancement

APIs have been enhanced to return the associatedProviderIds attribute in the response, not only during the migration runway period but also after it ends. The GET providers API will also start returning the associatedProviderIds attribute similar to the GET provider details API.

Cryptocurrency Accounts Aggregation Support

Envestnet | Yodlee is upgrading its aggregation platform to support cryptocurrency accounts. Cryptocurrency aggregation is available for customers onboarded for a combination of FastLink 4 with Yodlee API v1.1 only. Currently, cryptocurrency aggregation is not supported for customers onboarded with FinApps (Accounts, Transactions, Holdings, Networth, etc.)

Cryptocurrency aggregation will be available in the Production from August 01, 2022. For more information, contact your account manager.
Some of the APIs have been updated to support the following cryptocurrency-related changes:

  • A new account type DIGITAL_WALLET and a new holding type digitalAsset have been introduced.
  • The price and quantity fields have been enhanced to support the extra decimal places for the newly introduced DIGITAL_WALLET account type and digitalAsset holding type.
  • The derived APIs have been enhanced to consider cryptocurrency data for calculation purposes.

Open Banking – New Features/Enhancements

UK Open Banking

Platform Support for Modified Customer Interface (MCI) Providers

Few UK providers decided to restrain UK Open Banking and support another standard permitted by UK regulator known as MCI (Modified Customer Interface aka screen scraping+). MCI enforces a more secure way of authentication from Open Banking architecture and allows screen scraping for permitted providers or banks.

Following MCI providers will be supported in the July release and will require customers to complete the established UK Open Banking onboarding process to have access to them:

  • Metro Bank Retail
  • Metro Bank Business Corporate

Disable Edit Connection for Once-off Consent’s Re-add Page

The Edit Connection button will be greyed out or disabled for one-time consents on the re-add page, as a once-off consent cannot be edited by the user; the user will only be able to add a new login. For other logins, the normal Edit Connection button will be displayed.

Notifications Dashboard Enhancements

A new notification has been introduced in the notifications dashboard that informs the user when the consent is about to expire. For consents that are about to expire within the upcoming 90 days, the notification with the expiry date will be provided on the Notification Dashboard. The bell icon will display the number of consent-expiry notifications until the user renews it.

Configuring CDR Policy URL via Configuration Tool

The CDR Policy Guidelines URL (https://solutions.yodlee.com/au-cdr.html) is specific to Envestnet | Yodlee’s CDR policy. This feature enhancement is to let the customers configure their own policy URL specific to their policy guidelines (in case they have any) using the Configuration Tool. The default URL will remain Envestnet | Yodlee’s.


Wealth Management – New Features/Enhancements

Cryptocurrency Aggregation

As cryptocurrencies are another form of assets, the aggregation of cryptocurrency data is tagged under investment container. Cryptocurrency aggregation support is available for wealth customers onboarded for a combination of FastLink 4 with Yodlee API v1.1 only. Currently, cryptocurrency aggregation is not supported for customers onboarded with FinApps (Accounts, Transactions, Holdings, Networth, etc.)

Cryptocurrency aggregation will be available in Production from August 01, 2022. For more information, contact your account manager.

  • New metadata has been added to the investment data model:
    • accountType: DIGITAL_WALLET
    • accountCategory: Digital Assets
    • holdingType: digitalAsset
    • securityType: DIGITAL_ASSET
  • As cryptocurrency tokens can be traded in decimals, the data model has been enhancedto support up to 16 digits for the fields quantity and price if the accountType is DIGITAL_WALLET.
  • The exchanges supported as part of this MVP release are only from the US region. The list is as follows:
